Lattice Lodge is an ideal place to stay for Sizewell C workers for several reasons.
Calm and Peaceful Environment
We seek to attract guests who are mutually respectful of one another, and prefer a calm and peaceful environment, rather than a somewhat ‘lively’ one. The last thing you want after a long day at work is to come back to your accommodation and be disturbed by other guests.
Great Value
Our rates are almost always significantly lower than the hotels in town, and even more so if you book directly at our website, stay for 4 nights per week, and especially if you book our Non Refundable Rate. We’re sure that you won’t find better like for like value (and if you do, please do show us).
Convenient Transportation
If you’re driving, we have free onsite parking (including 2 x EV Charging spaces), and our closest Sizewell ‘Park and Ride’ site is at Martlesham, a 12 minute drive away.
If you’re reliant on public transport, the 66 bus goes from directly outside Lattice Lodge, starting at 0616, to within a short walk of the Martlesham Park and Ride, where you can pick up the Sizewell shuttle buses. The return journey is the same in reverse.

Self Catering Facilities
All of our 14 ensuite bedrooms have a fridge and microwave in them, allowing a degree of self catering. There is also a large, fully equipped guest kitchen on the ground floor, allowing for further meal preparation.
Shops
We have a Sainsbury Local directly opposite.
Eating Out
We have a great Turkish restaurant (Ottoman) and a lovely little Italian (Bella Napoli) both within a couple of minutes walking distance. Next nearest would be the Lattice Barn and Royal George pubs, which also serve food, and are both 10-15 minutes walk away.
Also close by is the legendary Fat Cat pub, which doesn’t serve its own hot food, but does encourage you to order in a takeaway. This is where you’ll find Martin, the owner of Lattice Lodge, on many Wednesday nights. He might even buy you a drink!
