![]() We are proud to say that where Mother Nature allows, all of our breakfast ingredients are locally sourced and from ethical providers. Obviously our orange juice comes from further afield, so we really would urge you to try the local apple juice - it's delicious! We serve breakfast during the hours below: -
If you arrive for breakfast after these times you are welcome to help yourself to cereals and toast, and we're usually on hand with a kettle and a teapot or cafetiere. We can also provide a 'breakfast to go', in the form of a bacon or sausage sandwich on the dot of 7am, or alternatively, a packed lunch in lieu of breakfast. Please let us know when booking if you would like these options. Breakfast Menu Please help yourself to cereals, fruit juice and hand sliced (very thick!) toast. Our bread is sourced from a local bakery, and our apple juice is from near Bury St Edmunds, around 20 miles away. Marybelle fruit yoghurts, which are made in Suffolk, are available upon request. We will bring you a pot of tea or a cafetiere of freshly brewed coffee. All our tea is Fairtrade, and our coffee is Rainforest Alliance certificated, and is roasted and ground in Ipswich. You can then choose a cooked breakfast of your choice, which is anything from the classic Full Suffolk Breakfast, right down to a poached free range egg on toast. We are also very proud of our kipper fillets, which are from Lowestoft, undyed, and very tasty (and go very well with a poached egg according to Martin). Subject to availability, we may also have smoked salmon and scrambled egg. If you fancy a bit of sweetness to finish, each table has a selection of local jams and marmalade. We can also cater for a variety of special diets - please inform us when booking and we will ensure that we can accommodate your needs. |
